Andrea Minelli

Andrea Minelli is a certified spiritual and retreat leader and a Mercy Associate at Mercy by the Sea in Madison, CT. She is co-leader of Mercy by the Sea’s Summer Sabbath program and is on the teaching team at the Spiritual Life Center in West Hartford. She holds a certificate in biospiritual focusing and is a trained pastoral care associate. She earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. in spirituality from Hartford Seminary. She is a graduate of the Seminary’s Women’s Leadership Institute.

Spiritual Direction Offering

This spiritual director is paid directly by each directee for the service of spiritual direction. The director will determine the session rate in conversation with you based on your needs and their practices and instruct you on how to make payments. The Center requests that you consider an additional offering of $10-$25 per session to support our operational and administrative expenses. Session Appointments, Changes, and Cancellations

All spiritual direction sessions are scheduled and coordinated between the director and the directee. Directees are expected to keep their scheduled appointments. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please contact your spiritual director at the email address on this bio page (some directors may also choose to share phone contact information with directees once they begin meeting). Whenever possible, please provide 24 hours notice for all appointment changes. Spiritual direction is usually conducted once a month. You and your director will decide on the frequency and timing of your sessions.

After you complete this intake form, the spiritual director should contact you to let you know if they can take you on as a directee and then begin the spiritual direction relationship by scheduling your first session.
