Reverend Thomas Carr
At this time, Rev. Tom is not accepting new directees.
The Reverend Thomas Carr is an ordained minister of the American Baptist Churches (ABC), USA, and former pastor of four ABC congregations. For nearly four decades he has been involved in issues of creation justice and spirituality with local congregations, ecumenically and on an interfaith basis and is the co-founder of the Connecticut-based Interreligious Eco-Justice Network. He is a certified spiritual director, a graduate of the Spiritual Life Center Internship Program (2014) and welcomes opportunities to engage with spiritual seekers of any or no religious tradition. For more than three decades, he has been exploring the interrelationship among humans along with the connection between the human and other-than-human, the sacredness of all creation and the presence of the Divine within all life. His primary spiritual practices are daily meditation, journaling, thanksgiving, reading books and articles dealing with the “spiritual life” and spending time outside, particularly hiking; being in forests, among the trees. The Sacred is within all.
